Souled Out with BLAM

Although I stopped attending opening shows about six months ago tonight I passed by Huckle The Barbers in Old St on my way home to see a new body of  work by Blam, it’s an interesting setting to have an exhibition and in all honesty it works really well. We had a quick chat which roughly went from facial furniture, drift wood, water colours, working with oil paints, back to hair, pony tails and baldness and finally to him then asking me if I  going to drive my car into the barbers to get a shot (as you do).

Blam  was finishing up a George Clinton live portrait when I was abruptly summoned back home by one of my children but as Sly Stone said ‘It’s A Family Affair’.

Souled Out‘  is a funky line up of iconic soul artists from the 70’s onward’s, definitely worth a pass by and a quick restyle.
